Re-Envisioning Clinical Education
 
The New Jersey Nursing Initiative is offering a forum for faculty and clinical leaders to engage in dialogue regarding clinical education. The goals of the event are to identify facilitators and barriers that influence future directions for clinical nursing education and to highlight innovative models for clinical nursing education that could be piloted in New Jersey. Participants will hear from national experts about innovations and efficiencies that have demonstrated success elsewhere.
 
The event will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Brower Student Center of The College of New Jersey in Ewing. There is a limit of three participants per institution. Business Summit on Health Care Reform
 
In conjunction with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the New Jersey Nursing Initiative is hosting a Business Summit that will engage business leaders in crafting innovative, proactive approaches that will help ‘cure’ or mitigate the nursing crisis. Katie Hayes, vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will deliver the keynote address. Panels will include creative partnerships and perspectives from business, higher education and health care leaders. The event is co-sponsored by Johnson and Johnson and The Horizon Foundation of New Jersey.
